Resource List
It has only been in recent years that I've had the time to do the work
of producing a large piece of writing. I've hand-written and designed
StarlightGazette.com... so that... on this website... you can read my work...
where I hope it will always remain.
I intend for Starlight Gazette to be a resource for all sorts of information.
There are things in many categories that I find exceptional or important,
and I want to have them accessible here. Also, I believe that some things
should be done differently than they are commonly done... and I will offer
my own version of them, as time permits.
The name "Starlight Gazette" evolved from a former website
that I had designed as an internet directory... "Starlight City.com"
I associated "starlight" with points of interest on the internet.
The directory listed sites of information in many categories, and
would not list (or limited the listings) of sites that used forms of
advertising that installed third party cookies... or otherwise gathered
your personal info as you used the site.
The extensive work that I did has become outdated, and would
require a time-consuming project to research again all the links.
It's still on my list of "to-do's."
I did not renew the domain name for several years.
When I began setting up another website to publish my writing and
research, the domain "StarlightCity.com"was taken by a video game, I believe.
I settled on "StarlightGazette.com" and reworked the graphics that I had used
on my directory... a starlight background with pages that scrolled in front of it.
It had no other meaning whatsoever to me, other than as a pretty backdrop.
